“Galeni Gardens” — a garden for celebrations
They say it almost never rains here because the site is close to a well-known votive shrine and mysterious forces are at work… Surely the first part is true. Sofia lies at your feet. You step out of the car, are greeted by the scent of the forest and immerse yourself in the meadows… Only the sky is above you. Time stands still. You do not want to leave. You breathe freely. Whatever we tell you, it is best to experience it for yourself!
Introducing Galeni Gardens in Voynegovtsi, Sofia, at the foot of the Balkan Mountains. Located 17 kilometres from central Sofia and just 3 kilometres from Sofia's ring road, our gardens offer you freedom. A place for all kinds of celebrations.
Galeni Gardens covers 6,000 square metres. We will open our doors in May 2019.
We offer easy access by car, parking for 40 cars, a beautiful marquee with around 120 seats, a dance floor, and a bar for drinks and food. Or you may prefer your guests to sit beneath the blue sky with everyone's favourite decoration: garden lights. Additional marquees can be arranged. In fact, you can request extra… anything! We want to give you all the space that six decares of meadows, paths and trees can offer.
We have provided a sturdy marquee with a white roof and sides. In bad weather it can be fully enclosed, so your party does not depend on the weather. Heaters are also available if needed. The marquee includes basic warm white lighting and coloured spotlights.
For equipment, tableware, food and drinks, we can recommend our catering partners or provide suitable working conditions for the partners you choose.
As for loud music late into the night, we can say just one thing: we are very far from any houses, so your party can continue until dawn.
The gardens can accommodate up to 1,000 seated guests.
For weddings, your outdoor ceremony can be held wherever you wish: simply walk around the gardens and point to the spot where you dream of saying “I do”! We offer beautiful settings for a woodland ceremony or a meadow wedding.
The surrounding area offers unique natural scenery: sunflower and wheat fields, vast cherry orchards, meadows full of wild herbs, dense forests, charming birds, and wonderful views of Sofia, the Rila Mountains, Vitosha and the Lyulin Mountains. Our night-time views are equally captivating, with Sofia shining at your feet!
We can also arrange photo shoots with horses, off-road vehicles and tractors. Horse riding or an ATV excursion in the surrounding area can be booked.
